John consulted with major U.S. Congressional Chartered Federal Home Loan Bank and a Fortune 10 insurance firm on providing E-Commerce capacity planning and data network trending services. He also provided telecomm design and capacity planning services to top tier oil companies, as well as led effort to determine the capacity a major Las Vegas based casino and hotel resort's WAN backbone. John was a principal network consultant for Predictive Systems. Prior to Predictive, John held network architecture and management positions for AT&T Global Information Solutions, Mellon Bank, and the U.S. Army.
has been a leader in the technology field for over 30 years. He joined Seanet having a broad background in data networking and software engineering. He was Director of Systems Engineering for Raritan Computers where his team developed the industry-leading KVM-over-IP switch. Prior to that he was VP of Network Strategy for Predictive Systems where he led numerous successful consulting projects for clients in varied businesses including the Financial and Network Equipment industries He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff. Mr. Burgess has spoken at international conferences and has several published papers. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Stanford University.

He has created and led numerous successful business development efforts across a large number of industries both domestically and internationally. Mr. Marra served as VP Worldwide Alliances for Riversoft Inc. (IBM) where under his leadership the restructured sales division achieved results equaling 40% of overall company sales in less than one year. As VP of OEM Sales at Micromuse (IBM) Mr. Marra relaunched the Federal Sales division successfully positioning NetcoolTM as a Best of Breed solution, with many of the leading systems integrators adopting the technology resulting in significant revenue attainment. Prior to Micromuse, Mr. Marra launched the Channel Sales division at SMARTS Inc. (EMC) as their first VP in this role. Mr. Marra was also an integral part of the original team that founded Objective Systems Integrators Inc. serving in many roles including Director of Channel Sales. |
